MyLittleTravelGuide is a small company specialising in online city guides and tailor-made tour packages in China for business travellers. With our extensive knowledge and experience we can help you plan your trip but, once you arrive we want you to see and be inspired by the vibrant cultural life of China. We will help you plan sight-seeing tours and suggest the best places to dine that capture the essence of life in a rapidly changing country.
The company founder is a seasoned business traveller to China and around the world, and often takes the opportunity to explore cities and sights that are off the tourist map. MyLittleTravelGuide addresses the needs of many ‘time poor’ travellers who have little time to read guide books and trawl through travel websites. This is a concise travel website. Although we do not book your flights or hotel accommodation our business partners will be happy to undertake these tasks for you. We believe that by specialising only in what we are good at – that is, online city guides and tailor-made packages that reflect what the traveller actually wants – can we ensure your travel experience is both unique and hugely enjoyable.
Our online guides are regularly updated with the help of the local people who have strong connections with the western culture and expats who are living in China. We can also provide English speaking guides and private transportation.
We have just launched UK city guides for independent Chinese travellers. The website will be available in Chinese soon. London, Cambridge and Edinburgh city guides are currently featured but we are adding more cities onto our guide. Tailor tour packages with mandarin speaking guides are also available too.
MyLittleTravelGuide is a business concept inspired by the founder’s late father Cecil. Cecil ran his travel agency in Hong Kong from 1972 until he passed away in 2005. He started out as a tour guide helping his uncle and worked for Thomas Cook in the 1950’s. You will find a special area dedicated to him called ‘Cecil’s Place’. He was passionate about sharing his travel experiences. ‘Cecil’s Place’ will continue to serve travellers, with his vision and passion, and dispense informative travel news and helpful tips to travellers visiting China and UK.
